Helping children succeed, strengthening confidence across school and daily environments

Our school-age ABA services support children ages 6–17 in California who need assistance developing skills that affect learning, communication, behavior, and daily participation. Programs are individualized using evidence-based ABA strategies and are designed around the child’s needs across school, home, clinic, and community environments. Services focus on helping children manage real-life situations such as classroom routines, peer interaction, transitions, and independent daily tasks.

Skills We Help Develop

School-age support programs are structured around practical skills children use throughout their day:

  • Social Skills and Peer Interaction
Sessions may include guided practice with conversation, cooperation, group participation, and relationship-building.
  • Classroom Behavior and Participation
Support can address the following instructions: staying engaged during activities, completing tasks, and adapting to classroom expectations.
  • Communication and Self-Expression
Children are encouraged to strengthen functional communication skills for school, home, and social settings.
  • Daily Living and Independence
Programs may focus on routines, organization, self-care tasks, and age-appropriate responsibility.
  • Emotional Regulation and Flexibility
Therapy can help children develop coping strategies for transitions, frustration, changes in routine, and emotional responses.

What to Expect

Services generally begin with an assessment process to understand the child’s strengths, challenges, and daily support needs. Therapy sessions are then structured around individualized goals and may take place across multiple settings to encourage consistency and skill application in real situations. Progress is monitored regularly, and collaboration with families—and when appropriate, school staff—helps support continuity between therapy and everyday environments.
